Two-factor authentication coming this fall

my529 is excited to announce the launch in September of two-factor authentication (2FA) for advisors and LPOA users. You may have received our postcard and email notifications about 2FA.

As my529 account owners, your clients are already required to use 2FA to access their accounts.

my529 is committed to providing a secure online experience for advisors and clients. 2FA is rapidly becoming the industry standard, and it enhances security by requiring two types of identity verification.

Know Your PIN to Prepare for 2FA

You will need your my529 PIN to verify your identity within the 2FA system. Once you are logged in at advisor.my529.org, you can find your PIN displayed under your name.
